Cummins & White is pleased to announce that Margaret Miglietta, partner, has earned a LEED AP Building Operations + Maintenance credential through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). This distinction allows her to serve on any construction project whether it is new construction, major remodeling or renovation, and assist the project through the LEED certification process while providing the project with one innovation design credit towards the project’s LEED certification.
LEED credentials distinguish professionals across many disciplines by representing fundamental knowledge of green building and a commitment to sustainability. They serve as a mark of qualification, education and influence, and assure employers, industry peers, policymakers and other stakeholders of an individual’s exceptional competencies.
Margaret’s certification provides her with further insight in advising owners, developers, contractors and project managers regarding the drafting and review of contractual agreements and liability risks pertaining to LEED requirements and obligations assumed by contract. Additionally, she is able to serve as counsel on litigation arising from LEED construction issues.
