Patty League
Paralegal
Patty League joined Cummins & White, LLP in April 2011. She has more than 25 years of experience as a paralegal in the areas of construction law and general civil litigation. Ms. League spent the greater part of those years working as a paralegal with attorney D. Paul Purcell, representing institutional and construction-related businesses in litigation matters, with special emphasis on creditor’s rights, construction remedies and commercial collections. She has experience in both state and federal construction areas, including Federal Miller Act law.
Motion & Trial Preparation
Ms. League is actively involved in all aspects of litigation support, including the preparation of pleadings, discovery and correspondence, as well as conducting legal research and investigations. She is heavily involved in both state and federal trial preparation, including the preparation of witness lists, exhibit books,jury instructions, and special verdict forms.
Investigation
Her investigation experience includes asset searches, UCC filing searches, locating witnesses, judgment and lien searches, and searching for and obtaining relevant public records.
Ms. League also has more than eight years of Criminal Defense experience at both the state and federal levels.
