Mr. Carpenter joined Cummins & White, LLP in 2015. He is a litigator who represents Southern California-based business owners, entrepreneurs, land owners, real estate investors and fiduciaries in high-stakes business disputes involving partnerships and shareholder disagreements, breach of contracts, sale of businesses, unfair competition and construction defect. He also represents clients involved in disputes arising from real estate ventures and cases where there are allegations of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.

Mr. Carpenter’s practice also involves trust and probate matters. In the area of employment litigation, he has represented companies and their executives in matters involving employment terminations and executive compensation.

While his pretrial strategies are very effective in obtaining settlements, Mr. Carpenter is also experienced with taking cases to trial and appeal. He has extensive training and experience as a mediator, conciliator and as alternative dispute resolution counsel.
