“Helping clients resolve conflicts efficiently, so they can focus on moving forward with their lives and businesses, is my ultimate goal. While I’ve come to appreciate the dynamic nature of civil litigation across jurisdictions from California to Florida, that guiding principle informs my every step, both inside and outside the courtroom, in pursuit of the best outcomes for our clients.”
Justin Hassani is an associate with Cummins & White LLP in their civil litigation department where he focuses his practice on judgment enforcement, real property and intellectual property litigation.
Mr. Hassani returns to his home state of California, having begun his legal career in Florida.
After clerking for a county court judge in Coral Gables in Miami, and passing the Florida Bar in 2015, he worked in the west coast area of Fort Myers, Florida, with a prominent firm specializing in real property litigation. After the pandemic, Mr. Hassani took a position on the east coast of Florida in Coral Gables where he honed his expertise on civil litigation, ranging from real property to intellectual property, in addition to focusing on judgment enforcement litigation.
Mr. Hassani grew up in Southern California, attended college and law school in Michigan, having received a B.A. in Psychology from Calvin College (now Calvin University) and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he achieved two book awards in Advanced Research and Writing and Entertainment Law and graduated Cum Lauda.
In his spare time, Mr. Hassani enjoys most forms of motorsports, namely Formula One, MotoGP and ISMA. He enjoys playing ice hockey, Texas Hold’em, and is a champion for all animals.
