Eric M. Khodadian is a partner and trial attorney with experience successfully representing clients ranging from small business and individuals to Fortune 500 companies.  Eric handles a variety of cases, including real estate, business, and commercial lawsuits, insurance, privacy, defamation, personal injury, and wrongful death matters.

Eric is a highly effective and skilled litigator with a winning track record.  A few notable wins:

  • $2.9 million judgment in business dispute case (Kim v. Purple Generation, Inc. – LASC Case No. BC694399)
  • $2 million confidential settlement in business dispute case
  • $1.25 million confidential settlement in trip and fall case
  • $770,000 jury verdict in medical malpractice case (Henderson v. Thanos – OCSC Case No. 30-2019-01114425-CU-MM-CJC)

Prior to joining our firm, Eric was the principal attorney of Khodadian Law, P.C. where he secured more than $5 million in jury verdicts, settlements, and judgments in personal injury, insurance, commercial litigation, and real estate cases.

Prior to starting Khodadian Law, P.C., Eric was an associate attorney with international law firm K&L Gates, LLP, where he provided litigation and trial assistance to help the lead attorneys win a $30 million jury verdict in a construction delay case and defense of False Claims Act cross-claim involving a $140 million contract and the largest dam raise project in the world.  (Shimmick Const. Prior to K&L Gates, Eric was an associate attorney with Morris Polich & Purdy, LLP (now known as national firm Clark Hill) where he represented clients in architect/engineer liability, commercial, construction, government torts, broker liability, real estate, landlord-tenant, personal injury, privacy, data/cyber security, and wrongful death cases. As a second year associate, Eric defensed a high profile double homicide wrongful death case filed against his client on his own.

Before joining private practice, Mr. Khodadian started his career as a USC grant recipient working for the California Attorney General Antitrust Section investigating anticompetitive hospital contracting and boycotting practices, sham patent litigation, and interference claims in the portable clinical chemistry system industry, as well as litigation support for the Corporate Fraud division securities fraud cases. Eric also provided recommendations directly to then Attorney General, now U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

Eric received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where he was Editor in Chief of an honors law journal. While in law school, Mr. Khodadian worked in house at a sports management company called Black House MMA representing multiple champions of the UFC in merchandise rights, promotional, bout agreements, right of publicity, video game, and motion picture licensing agreements.
