Labor Relations

In the area of traditional labor-management relations, Cummins & White provides a full range of services for unionized and non-unionized clients. We have represented numerous clients in collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and labor contract administration matters. This work includes analyzing existing labor agreements with an eye toward strengthening management rights and achieving cost savings, as well as advising and/or representing employers in grievance processing and arbitration hearings.

We also assist non-unionized clients with maintaining their non-union status in the face of union organizing drives, including representation in matters before the National Labor Relations Board, and providing training and guidance for managers and supervisors to communicate the company’s message effectively while avoiding unfair labor practices.
