ROBERT J. LAMM
Robert J. Lamm joined Cummins & White, LLP as an associate in 2005 and was elected as a partner in 2008. Mr. Lamm's practice focuses on transactions with emphasis on taxation, estate planning, real estate, and trust administration, as well as entity selection and structure.
Prior to joining Cummins & White, LLP, Mr. Lamm practiced in the areas of estate planning business law with an emphasis in taxation. He is well experienced with Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Domestic Asset Protection Trusts, IRA Conduit Trusts, Defective Grantor Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, and Private Annuity Trusts. However, Mr. Lamm believes that these sophisticated estate-planning techniques are only tools. The best foundation for estate planning is a good Revocable Living Trust and outstanding entity structure for your business and real estate assets. He enjoys assisting our clients with these issues and appears in probate court when necessary.
Mr. Lamm is a member of the State Bar of California. He also serves as Captain in the Army Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps for the U.S. Army Reserve.
Mr. Lamm received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from University of Arizona (1996) where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Lamm received his J.D. from California Western School of Law (1999) where he served as secretary in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He later earned his LLM in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law in Florida (2000).
Mr. Lamm was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and greatly enjoys University of Arizona basketball. He and his family reside in Tustin Ranch, California.
