MICHELLE A. BURR

Michelle A. Burr joined Cummins & White, LLP as an associate in 2004. Ms. Burr's practice focuses on civil litigation, with emphasis on professional liability defense, insurance defense and coverage, personal injury and general business litigation. She also specializes in consumer claims against automobile manufacturers and dealers for breach of warranty, Business & Professions Code violations and violations of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act.

Prior to joining Cummins & White, LLP, Ms. Burr defended automobile dealers and manufacturers against consumer claims for violation of the Business and Professions Code and Consumer Legal Remedies Act, as well as claims for the fraud, breach of contract and premises liability.

Ms. Burr is a member of the State Bar of California. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Burr is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Burr is also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) where she serves on the Public Policy Committee and the Corporate Economic Development Committee. She is a member of the Orange County Women's Soccer League, and a member of the National Auto Sports Association.

Ms. Burr received her B.A. in English from the University of San Diego, San Diego (1997). She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, San Francisco (2000).

Ms. Burr was born in Glendale, California. She and her husband reside in Costa Mesa, California.
