Dogmetchi joined Cummins & White, LLP as an associate in 2000 and
became a partner in 2005. Ms. Dogmetchi's practice focuses primarily
on complex civil litigation, including general business litigation,
public entity defense, common carrier defense and employment-related
litigation. She also handles a multitude of insurance defense litigation
involving premises liability, personal injury, products liability,
professional liability, transportation, property and casualty.
Ms. Dogmetchi has considerable experience defending employers, company directors, officers and company representatives in a variety of employment-related lawsuits including work-place harassment, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and defamation. She also has extensive experience litigating on behalf of diverse clients in a wide range of business disputes including business torts, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and defending public entity clients in mass tort cases.
Ms. Dogmetchi is a member of the State Bar of California. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
Ms. Dogmetchi received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine (1993). She earned a J.D. from Vermont Law School (1996), where she received academic honors for her clinical work at the South Royalton Legal Clinic and was the recipient of the Jonathan B. Chase Scholarship. Thereafter, Ms. Dogmetchi earned an LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law (1997), where her studies emphasized Marine Law and Affairs.
Ms. Dogmetchi was born in Iran. Ms. Dogmetchi is fluent in Farsi. She and her family reside in Newport Coast, California.
