CHARLES T. SPAGNOLA

Charles T. Spagnola joined Cummins & White, LLP as a partner in 2006. Mr. Spagnola’s practice focuses on complex civil, business and real estate litigation as well as sophisticated criminal defense. From 2001 through 2006, Mr. Spagnola served as Cayer & Spagnola’s Partner and Senior Litigation Counsel.

Mr. Spagnola has extensive experience representing corporations and business professionals in complex contractual disputes, real estate transactions, copyright and trademark litigation, international trade disputes, commercial leasing and acquisition, and criminal and white-collar crime. He has taken more than 80 matters to jury trial and has advanced skills in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), litigation management, organization, negotiation and strategic planning.

Mr. Spagnola is a member of the California State Bar (1989), and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, Northern District of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. . Mr. Spagnola is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association and the Long Beach Bar Association. As a Licensed California Real Estate Broker he is also a member of the South Bay, California, and National Associations of Realtors. He enjoys Martindale Hubble Law Directory's prestigious "BV" peer review rating.

Mr. Spagnola completed his undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach (1981), and also served as a judge in the National Collegiate Moot Court competition (2005). Shortly after he served the school as a graduate assistant. Mr. Spagnola went on to earn his J.D. from Western State University, College of Law (1989). After graduating he was a member of the adjunct faculty in the paralegal program at Fullerton Community College.

Mr. Spagnola was appointed Judge Pro Tempore both in Orange County Consolidated Courts (1998) and Los Angeles Superior Court, Certified Civil Non-jury Trials and Unlawful Detainer (2005).

Mr. Spagnola was born in Rochester, New York. He and his family reside in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
