She has extensive experience representing insurance companies and their insureds in both first and third party coverage analysis, disputes, litigation and appeals. She handles all aspects of litigation involving “bad faith,” business disputes, landlord tenant disputes, and Business & Professions Code §17200 actions. Ms. Miglietta’s experience gives her an expertise in handling matters particular to the Southwest and California. She has provided contract analysis on fire policies issued to hundreds of policyholders whose properties were destroyed or damaged in California and Arizona wildfires. She has also represented insurers in complex commercial cases stemming from California earthquakes. Ms. Miglietta has routinely provided coverage analysis on the duty to defend on wrongful termination, slander and libel, and other personal injury coverage issues in the context of Commercial General Liability, Errors & Omissions and Directors & Officers policies.
